collateral misinformation

When someone alters a Wikipedia article to win a specific argument, anyone who reads the false article before the "error" is corrected suffers from collateral misinformation.
I changed the scientific classification of red foxes last night in order to win an debate with Judy. I hope some stupid High School student doesn't suffer from collateral misinformation.

malinformed

Those who watch fox news channel, glenn beck, rush limbaugh, alex jones or any other right wing info-tainment source and believes anything they say to be truthful.
Fox News is hoping Elisabeth Hasselbeck will appeal to a younger malinformed audience.

Misinformer

Someone that never tells people what they're really doing, or who they really are.
The misinformer girl was always creating a climate of fear everywhere she went and everything she did.

misinformation laundering

The legitimization of false or inaccurate information, especially that which is deliberately intended to deceive, by means of citing other sources complicit in the propagation of misinformation.
Man, Facebook blames everything bad on one color of people, citing articles from Google, a book about that color of people being ‘fragile’, and excerpts from a “theory” from a professor who says that color
of people have been like that since 1619… I smell misinformation laundering.

misinformation station

The internet, particularly social media such as Facebook or Instagram.
“Did you see that Bob thinks lizard people are running the Australian government?”
“Yeah, he’s been hitting the misinformation station pretty hard”

The misinformation age

When a major news source or dot com turns out to be sharing unauthenticated opinions, half truths or outright lies. A cultural criticism.
1. "Did you read the rolling stone rape article retraction? Yeah Man, That's just the misinformation age for you!" 2. "I need to take a break from social media. All these posts, I've had enough of the misinformation age for one day."

Covid misinformation

Something de facto defined by Stalin, without Biden's input.
Facebook should be ashamed of itself; it needs Stalin to define covid misinformation.
