A bigotted policy that is over-emphasized to an incredibly irritating level. It is also used in the name of tolerance and progress, but it in fact happens to hold certain people down until people of a particular group gets things first. In addition, certain minorities are also left out in so-called "Diversity Week" celebrations, especially those with mental disabilities and Native Americans.
I don't like bullsh....I mean "Diversity Week". It leaves a lot of people out and I would rather deface it than embrace it.

A politically correct way to say that a school, area, or environment is mostly black or Hispanic. It doesn't have to be 'diverse' at all, as in Montebello High School which is 97 percent Hispanic, but it is still called 'diverse'.
Compton is an extremely diverse area.

Um, what are you talking about? It's black and Hispanic. That's not very diverse!

a deathblow to an existing environment
Promoting diversity in the Galapagos Islands, PETA fatatics released 5,000 minks they stole from productive citizens onto the islands. The minks preyed on and eventually destroyed all of the fauna. A similar situation exists with the democrats/socialists/liberals push for diversity/destruction of the United States of America.

A way to get people to focus on something else, such as when somebody wants to take people's attention away from similarities between their own country and a near-dictatorship and distract them with a story about a country overseas somewhere.
The girl told a story about Belarus, which despite her description of the country as being a near-dictatorship, was one of the few countries that wasn't on a lockdown at this time. It was a good diversion from events in her own country.

Diversity is okay in small amounts. Cultures should keep to their place of origin, and not be forced onto other people when an immigrant comes to town.
If I want to put up easter decorations, I will, and none of this politically correct "celebrate diversity" bullshit is gonna stop me.

difference between cultures. Although I am a liberal i do agree it has been taken to an extreme. People don't understand that other people's cultures do not need to be forced upon others. All that is needed is simple recognition. Everyone should be allowed to do their thing whether it is christmas, kwanza, or whatever. The difference is they should not have to abolish their own culture to avoid hurting other groups feelings. Wehn you played with your barbies on the playground, if another kid didn't like your barbie, that didn't mean you had to throw it away did you? No! the other kid just didn't play with it
