Great series of films that had its rep ruined by muscle and ricer guys. FnF is about achieving a middle ground between show, that PEOPLE (yes, people) win races and not the cars, and go with a actual storyline (unlike most car movies), not "my ricer can beat you exotic" or "muscle rules yo!" It's all about making your car perform, but stickers, subtle bodykits, other interior and visual mods etc. is ok as long as you use them correctly.

The fast and The furious is filled with modified cars, hot girls and 1/4 mile drag races that last for 2 minutes.
The fast and The furious influenced the world in many ways:
-Made every JDM tuner a ricer.

-Having a big gaping WANG and a Bonnet scoop makes your car faster in drag races.

one of the best import racing movies ever created, has great acting by the cast, has awesome import cars with custom body kits performance parts vinyls etc.., has intense nitrous action, has a good storyline but they should of made the movie longer, and it has awesome suppressed Uzis with japanese guys using them too shoot the shit out of Brian o'connor's eclipse, sad part of the movie. really awesome car!

guy: i just got done watching the fast and the furious, that movie was the best racing movie i ever seen! but it felt like it was too short. the cars in it were awesome, i gotta save up some money for one of them!

Apart from Vin Diesels dragster of course.
Most offensive was the scene where one of these hotted up shitboxes drags off a Ferrari.. so what? I dont care how fast your ricer is, or how low it is, it is not a Ferrari, it has no glorious past like Ferrari have, and a Ferrari sitting still will always be more beautiful than any rice burner at any speed.

Most racing/car movies suck anyways (Gone in 60 seconds) but this one had a good storyline for a movie about cars/racing because like I said, most race movies suck ass (Days of Thunder).
