Frolicology

The field of study into the benefits of playful, sometimes silly and lively movement or activity.

There seems to be some taboo among adults with the word 'Play', they see it as the domain of children. Research into the affects of play on an adults brain, body and mind when they are in a state of play are uncovering that playfulness can be a precursor to peak performance and moments of "Flow". The team at Blue Chip Minds coined the term to better describe the research they were uncovering and conducting into the science of play.
The way humans appear to let go and become more creative during times of play are of importance in frolicology, as it appears to affect the way a person perceives themselves and their environment.

A protracted period of debauchery and drunkenness. This tradition originated with the "Spring Frolics" of Davidson College where a near lawless society develops over the course of the weekend. If you remember Frolics, you're doing it wrong.
Man those frolics were so hard, I don't remember anything since Friday. I just woke up wearing nothing but a hoodie as pants.
