Any athlete or sports team that does not live up to the hype that is bestowed upon them.

The Duke Men's Basketball team are such frauds for the performance they put up in their Sweet 16 game after being given a 2 seed in the tournament.

Fraud 

Fraud is someone who is an overrated af // considered much better than they really are by most people.

Most commonly used to describe PSG footballer Kylian Mbappe from the farmers league.

People comparing him to top players like Ronaldo and Messi because he scores tap ins, but hasn't won any major silverware except the Farmers Title, Farmers Cup and was carried by his national team to a World Cup trophy in 2018

Fraud and Mbappe mean the same thing, so basically if you call someone an Mbappe you're calling them a fraud.

That Mbappe is a stat padding fraud and its an insult to compare him to Messi

The guy came up with a lot of stuff while goofing around, he said he had slain 6 dragons already, really he was a fraud first and a knight was something he pretended to be to fuck with people.
