An inexpensive high performance automotive muffler that provided a lessening of back pressure on the exhaust valve(s)of a gasoline engine and scant noise abatement. Uncanny in their ability to attract the attention of policemen. Now obsolete. Also a type of bird. Fly = Go fast.
