Inside Joke 

A joke, usually between no more then 10 people, and usually sounds like complete nonsence if you are not part of it. Usually, It is something that happened or what someone said that was really funny at the time.

If someone who was not there when whatever happened, and are told the story of what did, it doesn't count as an inside joke with that person.

Rachel: Lightly toooooast
Olivia: Hahahaaa
Alyssa: What?
Olivia: Inside joke

Jill: Heee-yaa!
Omi: Hahahaa...Hee-yaa!
Jill: No. you can't do it. you weren't there.

Person: Hi. Did you take that test? I think I got that one about elephants totally wrong!

Group of annoying people: PURPLE ELEPHANT!!! *burst out laughing*

Person: Ummmm....

Group: Its an INSIDE JOKE. We can't tell you what it means!

Person: I don't care what it means.

Group: GOOD CUZ WE'RE NOT TELLING YOU!

a joke that is formed with a select few people. Later when a certain word is shouted (like ex. cheese grater) the people "inside" will laugh hystericly while others will only be confused.
