when you have a lot of something that you usually don't have a lot of, and you overuse it due to a change in your perception of its scarcity. it isn't too-much-itis if overconsumption has no consequences for you.

"I've got a bad case of too-much-itis, I just got my stimulus and I've already bought like six things."
