Surname of a powerful, yet benevolent royal family of Northern Ireland. Derived from O'Doherty, and mangled at Ellis Island in the mid- 1800s. This name denotes strength, wisdom, good looks, and effortless awesomeness. Many strive to become Dority-esque, but fail miserably.
