The act of tearing something (usually
paper) in half, and then tearing those halves in half again, in an attempt to invalidate it's usefulness, usually done right before throwing the item away.
A mixture of the
words "
cut" and "wad" formed into a homonym of the word "quad", which also describes how many pieces of the original item are created when you "cuwad" it.
Emily cuwadded George's wedding invitation and
tossed it into the recycle
bin.
Scott spends about 5 minutes every day having to cuwad all the credit
card offers he receives in the mail.
