(Noun) Chim is incorrect or fraudulent information delivered authoritatively in order to render it more believable. Often used in either moments of panic or sly deception.

(Verb) To chim or to be chimmed.
Person 1: Dave told me that the the F-35 will be able to perform all its tasks without issue once the new patch is installed.
Person 2: That's complete chim, dog. That thing has trouble simply parking on the ramp.
