An individual that embraces specialized technological interests, often at the expense of human relationships.

Technogeeks can generally work with computers at some level, but can be artists, scientists, mathemeticians, or scholars in a variety of fields that rely on technology.

My brother-in-law is a technogeek. He's always sitting at his computer designing something.

The ecstatic delight experienced when the taste and fragrance of particularly delicious food reaches the neural receptors in the brain resulting in a spiritual transportation to another place and time. technogeekaphobia

n. The irriational or unhealthy fear of technogeeks (the technology workers that create, control, deliver and support technology).

Symptoms include increased levels of stress and frustration when attempting to manage technical projects; high failure rate of technical projects; high turnover rate of technical staff.

Many managers become perplexed and exhibit symptoms of technogeekaphobia when their methods of management fail to work with programmers, developers and other technical creators.
