Damn right. Canada is a brilliant country, not without it's faults but what country doesn't have them. Other countries (Canada's close friends and allies) all have their good and bad points too. Let's stop this sledging off of one another and try and get on.

Get the Canada mug.FTR Canada is actually the best friend of the United States of America as opposed to that "great piece of crap" up north. And also for the most part Canadians and Americans do like each other so this "bitching" you so talk about doesn't really apply except to minority groups.
Person 1: What's that great piece of crap up north?
Person 2: That's no piece of crap at all loser, that's Canada the best friend of the United States of America.
Person 1: OK

Get the united states of america mug.A naturally blessed country in the south seas next to Australia. There are some Australians who think NZ's not worth a pinch of shit, and lay lots of it on NZ because they don't know any better. I hope there are only a minority of Australians who feel like this, as in all honesty NZ is pretty damn awesome. Also, many Kiwis tend to hate Australia because they think Australians dislike NZ. Hopefully it isn't too widespread.
Aussie 1: New Zealand's not worth a pinch of shit!
Aussie 2: Oath
Aussie 1: No there's lots of Aussies who think that.

Get the New Zealand mug.A beautiful country in the South Pacific a respected country that should not hate Australians and in turn Australians should not hate New Zealand our two nations are supposed to be allies, Ansett and underarm bowling be damned. They have fought on Australia's side. I for one am glad that some of the more childish definitions have been removed and we can start reading some proper stuff.
In conclusion many Aussies out there think NZ rocks. Trust me.

Get the New Zealand mug.To that last contributor, try reading posts, 32, and 35 OK, the underlying point of your ludicrously written post is that Australia is a more successful country simply owing to it's confidence along with a host of other reasons. You will only find a quarter of that in New Zealand but I have yet to meet someone on here who will encourage New Zealand to catch up in this area as opposed to being arseholes.

Get the new zealand mug.Kind sir, as it happens, I'm a Canadian myself, and many Canadians I know, are quite fond of Kiwis and of New Zealand. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't we in Canada living under America's shadow, (although this is a very mature and fine nation albeit not home to some of the best people). I do agree however that New Zealand is suffering from a higher instance, "little brother syndrome" all right? A lot like us at one point although we are overcoming it. New Zealand also suffers from a "cultural cringe" and yes is far from perfect, but as opposed to a low economy, NZ is actually doing relatively well, given it's isolation and what have you. I completely refute any reference to "sheep shagging" although to be fair, there are probably a minority of people in NZ who need to root them. And yes New Zealand lacks confidence in itself point taken, and there is a lot of catching up to do in this area, but there was a time when Canada lacked confidence in itself and some would argue, still do.

Get the New Zealand mug.The nation that once ruled half the globe (British Empire). Was known to treat it's colonies as if they were shite at times (sent their youth to die in two world wars and Boer War) and very well in others. (Defence, trade) wiped it's colonies noses, asses, and so on. Has a long history of bad treatment of the Irish over a period of 800 years. Should be proud of teaching Canada and other dominions all of their traditions such as democracy, free speech, and should also be ashamed of their degrading treatment of the Irish.
The United Kingdom is a paradox, it has been a role model, and a human rights abuser, where do it's dominions get some of their bad habits from?
