Canada

Damn right. Canada is a brilliant country, not without it's faults but what country doesn't have them. Other countries (Canada's close friends and allies) all have their good and bad points too. Let's stop this sledging off of one another and try and get on.
Person one: Canada rocks.

Person two: Yes yes it does.

united states of america

FTR Canada is actually the best friend of the United States of America as opposed to that "great piece of crap" up north. And also for the most part Canadians and Americans do like each other so this "bitching" you so talk about doesn't really apply except to minority groups.
Person 1: What's that great piece of crap up north?

Person 2: That's no piece of crap at all loser, that's Canada the best friend of the United States of America.

Person 1: OK

New Zealand

A naturally blessed country in the south seas next to Australia. There are some Australians who think NZ's not worth a pinch of shit, and lay lots of it on NZ because they don't know any better. I hope there are only a minority of Australians who feel like this, as in all honesty NZ is pretty damn awesome. Also, many Kiwis tend to hate Australia because they think Australians dislike NZ. Hopefully it isn't too widespread.
Aussie 1: New Zealand's not worth a pinch of shit!

Aussie 2: Oath

Aussie 1: No there's lots of Aussies who think that.

airport bum

One who hangs out at airports all day. Airport bums can be found at airports of all shapes and sizes, from a big major airport handling 747's to the airport that doesn't handle anything bigger than a Dash 8. I am one myself and am proud of it.
Airport bums are generally educated folk.

new zealand

Australia's close ally and friend. There are some Australians who seem to hate New Zealand for some reason and vice versa. Needs to stop. New Zealand is an entirely different country to Australia with entirely different political, economic, indigenous, demographic, and geostratgic differences to it's giant neighbour to the west. Either NE (New England) or the Northern Territory are that "new state"

The Anzac bilateral relationship between the two of them has been strained over the years, thanks to the ANZUS treaty breaking up, lack of defence spending from the New Zealand government, airline collapses, this, that, OK OK it's time to move on from all that. What about the positives? I have said this a few times before but I think the issue here is Australia's *bucketloads* of confidence, and general comfort with itself. New Zealand, I'm afraid you will not find anywhere near as much of these qualities. Many Australians I know love New Zealand, so I am not bitching too much.

new zealand

To that last contributor, try reading posts, 32, and 35 OK, the underlying point of your ludicrously written post is that Australia is a more successful country simply owing to it's confidence along with a host of other reasons. You will only find a quarter of that in New Zealand but I have yet to meet someone on here who will encourage New Zealand to catch up in this area as opposed to being arseholes.
Australia is more confident of itself than New Zealand is, and therefore more successful. Numbnuts!

New Zealand

Poster of # 53 how old are you five or something? That aside, NZ is still an awesome country, very similar to Canada:

Bilingual

Large concentration of Scottish migrants in Otago (Nova Scotia for Canada)

A Big brother country next door, called Australia (US for Canada). Australia has been very influential in New Zealand life and history why else do you think all the definitions here mention Australia, in much the same way the US has been a big influence on Canada, despite all that Australia and the US do love Canada and NZ a lot. This is becoming more realised in Canada and NZ and so that love and respect is increasingly returned.

Largest tower in the Northern/Southern Hemispheres. CN Tower for Toronto, Skytower for Auckland.

Neither of them joined in the Iraq fracas upsetting their respective big siblings at the time. However, they did both send troops to Afghanistan.

Conclusion of post.
New Zealand and Canada have a lot in common.
