A disgusting military place to eat. Adorned with bad art, uncomfortable furniture, and crappy food. Dick on a stick and soy burger's are prime examples.

We were dismissed for Thanksgiving liberty. All the lifers went home to their families and left me to go to the chow hall.

Plural for "Punks", but implying a tightly-knit crew. Used on the west coast alot. See also Skunx.

dick on a stick

A corn dog, usually from a Marine Corps chow hall.

After we got out of the field, 1stSgt. sent us to the chow hall for dinner. They were out of everything but Dick on a stick! What a rip off!
