Before Optimus Prime was called that and was a prime, he was a worker in Cybertron known as Orion Pax.

Insecticons

Insecticons are cybertronians but they are insect-like and can seem weird most of the time. The usually are decepticons as well.

Insecticons: Has wings and transforms from a bot to an insect like a wasp or beetle.

Shockwave

Shockwave is a decepticon scientist with one eye and is usually logical. He was killed by Optimus Prime in DoTM alongside one of his creations; a driller. He may be alive in other movies or books.

Dino

An autobot that speaks Spanish, wields two sharp blades and grapple hooks, and also transforms into a sleek red Lamborghini. Another name for him is Mirage.

Dino: *Speaks Spanish*
Dino: “And stay down!”

Lockdown

Lockdown is a fierce cybertronian that isn’t an autobot, nor a decepticon. He is a hunter with his own crew and was trying to capture Optimus prime and to bring him to his creators. Lockdown was sliced in half by Optimus Prime in AoE.

Lockdown: “This is my fight!”
Lockdown: “And you’re all going to die”

Decepticons

Lead by the power hungry almighty Lord Megatron, Decepticons are a faction in the Cybertronian war and they believe that conquest is the only way to prove that cybertronians are the most powerful beings. But mostly Megatron only wants to be the only leader.

Sentinel Prime: “Decepticons ships, fire on Optimus!”
Megatron: “Decepticons!”
Soundwave: “Decepticons, mobilise”

Ratchet

Ratchet is an autobot medical officer. He wields a buzzsaw and a sub machine gun. Ratchet also was in the first movie but got his energon suck dry by Lockdown in AoE.
