A downtrodden feeling one gets from being around people who don't know or strive for excellence. Commonly felt in cities that lack soul such as Washington D.C.
I felt more and more unexcellence while riding the metro into D.C. I was exposed to too many people in sad sack suits that have visible signs of giving their souls to jobs they hate.
