Ugly Bug

(as in ugly bugly or bugly ugly)
A term of endearment when reffering to someone; a pet name. Bug is a pet name in itself, so when calling someone an ugly bug, you recognize their flaws while at the same time expressing affection.
Does not mean the recipient is ugly.

She looked beautiful tonight even though her breath reeked of fish. I'm proud I have the privilege of calling her my ugly bug.
