Also known as Kung Tofoo, a pungent version of tofu. Usually best served to those people who complain that regular tofu is "bland", foot fetishists, or those who simply mispronounce "tofu".

Preparation:
(1) Chop up 250gsm of firm Tasmanian tofu with precision knifehand strikes into 1cm² blocks
(2) Boil tofu in tap water for 45min with two used socks (preferably freshly taken from an athlete's foot).
(3) Open windows.
(4) Leave to cool in a dark laneway for 12 hours.
(5) Remove rodents and serve toefood on a large silver platter.
(6) Add salt.
"Dad.... Can we have toefood tonight?"

"Sure kid. Take off your shoes and socks".

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
