land of nod

the point between being awake and being asleep, where you start to go to sleep, then catch your self, causing you to nod your head. when this happens over and over you are in the land of nod. it is really fun to watch someone while they are in the land of nod.

person 1: dude, look at that guy!
person 2: he is totally in the land of nod!
