A common term used around most recently around South Florida but has spread to many other influential areas of the world. It refers to a person who, by law, is considered to be a step-sister; however often times thought of by one (or both parties) to be more of a true sister.

Guy 1: "Dawg why was you all up in that girl's face last nght?"
Guy 2: "it's totally cool bra, that's my stepis... we're like almost related by blood"

stepsucker

A step parent, either male or female, whom weds someone that has children from a prior failed relationship. The "stepsucker" provides shelter, clothing, food, financial support, stability, etc., etc. to stepchildren that always take yet do not give and are more than willing to live off of someone they resent and have no respect for. The "stepsucker" is permitted the obligation of having to help raise the children but are not allowed to discipline them. Any step parent that is called dad or mom by loving appreciative children is exempt from this definition.

After opening the big expensive presents and tossing the wrapping paper onto the floor the children were asked by their step parent to please pick up the trash and put it in the bin to which the step children replied, " You can't tell us what to do your not our real parent, your just the stepsucker, LOL"

stepasshole

A stepasshole can be male or female and is the bad step-parent that gives the good step-parents a negative image. The majority of step-parents are doing their best and trying to make everything work out all around for everybody involved yet the opposite is true of the stepasshole whom only cares about the one, themself.

Two newly remarried moms with children from the previous spouses are comparing their new husbands. One mom says," This is working out far better than I could have imagined, the kids love him and he adores them."
The other moms reply is," Thats nice, lucky you. My lifes miserable, this jerks selfish, uncaring and I don't get any help from him in anything. He treats me and my kids like shit. He ain't no stepdad he's a stepasshole."
