A person, not necessarily an old person, who is short and rather unattractive. This person is usually harmless and can be found on their phone in the corner at parties.

Man, Sharon is such a squatwaffle, I feel kind of bad for her.

Quatwaffle

(noun): The swift and socially conscious action required to redeem yourself after making an awkward or tone-deaf joke, often by saying or doing something so woke and insightful that your friends instantly forgive you.

Example: "After joking, 'Guess women can’t parallel park,' he knew it was a quatwaffle, so he pivoted into a mini-rant about how systemic sexism impacts gender stereotypes in driving statistics."
