spellculate

Share definition Flag
To fake the spelling of an unfamiliar word.
Can be inserted in informal writing, in brackets, after any guessed-at spelling - so you still look stupid, but at least aware of it.
I hate trying to write people's surnames; I always have to spellculate.

If you cant handle that i'll have a Ventee traditional misto please use soy milk with two blond shots, Affagato and ristretto. I'd also love 3 vanilla pumps at the bottom, then add the coffee."
