drinking game whose name has possible british or european origin which involves drinking beer out of ones own shoe. Done entirely for the amusement factor or a gentle initiatory act at frat or college parties where individuals don't have enough sense or have too much alcohol in their systems to fear the social consequences of foot-breath.

"Yeah I can't believe that matt went shoeboating last week, he's a freak, always running around without socks in his old shoes. I wouldn't touch, let alone drink beer out of those shoes."

Adding unnecessary style flurishes to skilled activities, often beyond ones skill level, increasing the risk, and usually used to taunt or impress others.

That skateboarder was showboating to impress that girl when he broke his ankle.

The Washington Generals were down 150 to 10 but the Globetrotters were still showboating for the crowd.

Slowboating 

Slowboating is a science fictional verb/slang to a theoretical means of traveling between star systems known as Multi-Generational Space Voyaging. Moving slower than Light Speed. This can pertain to humans who essentially are living and dying per generation during a multi-light year voyage or individuals whom are frozen and waiting time of their arrival at their destination, which could take centuries if not longer.

With no Faster-Than-Light drive, I guess were slowboating it to next inhabited solar system.
