The slang word for a southeast kansas town named chanute. Without alcohol, the town has no pleasant or time-consuming activities to take part in.

Person A: Hey man, I'm going home for the weekend.
Person B: Where is that?
Person A: I live in chanute.
Person B: Fuck man, you grew up in shit-nute, no wonder you can drink a lot.
Person A: Well Drinking is all there is to do.
