Caternity Leave

When one acquires a new kitten or cat and must have paid or unpaid leave from work to revel in all it's feline glory. Similar to maternity or paternity leave.

Andrea just got a new kitten from the pound. All she wants to do is stay home, take pictures and feed him Temptations, so she went on Caternity Leave.

sofaternity

A diverse group of females and males dedicated to enjoying television, radio, the Internet, or any other media or media companies, etc., from the comfort of their sofas. As with sororities or fraternities, their particular dedication is defined by the Greek letters relative to their interest (without using letters of established fraternities or sororities).

Sigma Pi Nu The sofaternity that enjoys watching "Supernatural". The show "Supernatural" often is abbreviated as "SPN", or Sigma Pi Nu.

Nu Iota Sigma The sofaternity that enjoys watching "NCIS" (there is not an exact translation of "C" in Greek". Also, "NCIS" used to be knows at NIS.

For "NCIS:LA" fans, the sofaternity offers NLA. None of the above show up in Internet searches as established Greek societies.

There are some letters that have been moved into the mix from the Phoenicians, generally used by mathematicians, such as Vega. Therefore, the sofaternity uses Tau Vega Sigma for fans of "The Vampire Diaries".
