A rock on the Denali Highway in Alaska that may be mistaken for a caribou by overeager first time hunters. The term may also be applied widely to refer to any object which leads hunters on an arduous trek after a target that does not exist.

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
