procrastieat

(verb) When a person eats large amounts of food as a means of procrastination.

It may even get to the point where they are eating things they don't really like, just to avoid the thing they should be doing.
"I just finished an entire packet of biscuits in an hour and a half. Man, I must be procrastieating too hard."

"I finally realised I should do some work when I began to procrastieat things I didn't like."
