pirsook

Is a Shirazian term for Swallow. Pirsook is accepted as a symbol of friendship, kindness and love. In Iranian culture, it is believed that the Pirsook is a bird that keeps man safe from the dangers.

-Look! There's a pirsook outside my window.
-Feed her the dinner leftovers.
-Pirsooks don't eat lasagna moron, they eat seeds!
