PS is a backronym of Indonesian origin standing for "Penuh Stigma" (meaning "full of stigma"), referring to the stigma that PlayStation make children too lazy to study*.

*compared to earlier CD-based consoles like Commodore CDTV, Philips CD-i, and Tandy VIS
