northwest indiana

A mix of Chicago and the rest of Indiana in one. Often called The Region. Certain areas are more like Chicago and certain areas are more like the rest of Indiana. To people in Northwest Indiana, Indianapolis is in the south. This part of Indiana doesn't fit in really and sorta stands alone. Many Chicagoians hate people from here because they claim to know about the city and its struggles. The rest of Indiana is baffled by how different northwest Indiana is.

Indiana University Northwest 

The biggest piece of shit of a school. Shouldn't be considered a college. A complete joke. The advisers don't help you at all. They tell you it's a good school but it's absolutely terrible. In the middle of a the ghetto (Gary IN) but they insist that it's safe. yeah bull shit that's why there were at least 4 assaults on campus this past year. Don't ever go here if you are in this area and have to stay home for a year I highly suggest going to Purdue north central, Purdue cal or even Ivy tech over this pathetic excuse of a college.

(real situation)
Student: "What classes do i need to take this semester that will help me achieve my goal to graduate as this major at Indiana University Northwest?"

adviser: "i can't really help you with that you need to figure that out on your own."

Indiana University Northwest 

A cheap college education in the ghetto (a.k.a. Gary, IN) with relatively easy classes and professors who don't care as much as they should at the main campuses, yet still considered as a Indiana University degree.

Person 1-- Hey I'm going to Indiana University Northwest next semester!

Person 2-- Fuck you, I'm going to B-town and get a better education!

Person 1-- At least I pay less than you do in all 4 years at B-town and get easier classes..

Person 2-- Stfu you ghetto hick.
