The automatic response from many online chat users when asked "what's up?", "what's happening?" or any variation. The most annoying, pointless and ridiculous response imaginable. NM meaning "Not Much" and lol "Laugh Out Loud", insinuating that by replying nmlol, not much is "up" or "happening" and for some reason this deserves a "lol". If someone replies with "nmlol" it is recommended you immediately leave the conversation.
