...Newsblind... like noseblind... we have a numbness to news and events in the world.. we get so much slung at us thru the media...we just go numb.. our mind just doesn't flinch any more... symptoms of newsblindness include; fits of rage, but no known cause... an overwhelming sadness... isolating ourselves from the world while wanting more interaction with people... the inability to go anywhere without our phones... yet we curse being a slave to them...

Me: Holy shit!!! They shot up another school!!! OMG this is getting out of hand!!!
You: Hey where do you want to eat at tonight?
Me: Holy shit!!! Didn't you even hear me?
You: Pizza sounds good.

Unable to reach online resources such as google, mapquest, or myspace either because your internet connection is down or because you're unable to get to a computer. This might precipitate the need to call a friend and use them as a Tank.

My motherboard fried and I've been netblind ever since. The email must be piled up to my nipples by now.
