The useless, random shit that a computer or other electronic device spits at you when it thinks it can display foreign characters that it really can't.

Extra points awarded for when mojibake is spotted on digital billboards, electronic signage or even ATMs.

Tim Westwood settled in to a cosy evening of checking out his Wikipedia article, only to find some anonymous asshat had replaced it with a dollop of j-pop mojibake.

Mojibade signifies beauty, brain and strength.

She is someone who, when she walks in the room, captivates everyone with her every move and word. She loves attention, everyone wants to be her friend or her lover.

She has an amazing personality, no matter what this girl does she is continuously adored by everyone she comes into contact with. Not only does a Mojibade radiate on the outside but she has an absolutely loveable personality that can make anyone fall in love with her instantly. Mojibakos

A portmanteau blending the Japanese "Mojibake" (garbled/mutated text due to a decoding error) and the Ancient Greek "Pharmakos" (a human scapegoat cast out to purify a community).It refers to an individual, account, or piece of data that is so thoroughly mischaracterized, stripped of nuance, and "garbled" by internet algorithms or public rumor that their true identity becomes completely unrecognizable—making them the perfect, dehumanized target for a digital crowd to collectively exile.It can also refer to the "Sacrificial Bug"—a minor, corrupted line of code that a corporation falsely blames for a massive, systemic software crash to protect their own reputation.(Coined by Abdul Rehman Nagori/rx.rehman, 2026)

Person A: "Did you see the internet dynamic today? The crowd took a single out-of-context screenshot, stripped away all his human nuances, and turned him into a monster."
Person B: "Yeah, classic mojibakos. The algorithm garbled his identity so badly that society could comfortably banish him to feel righteous."
Person C: "Don't let the tech executives fool you into thinking the data leak was caused by a minor glitch. They are just using that corrupted file as a mojibakos to cover up years of terrible infrastructure."
