mix-n-match dinner

the result when there isn't enough of the main dinner item for the whole family, so the meal is supplemented with leftovers and quickie items; also can occur when nobody feels like cooking

I've had a crappy day at work, so why don't we just have a mix-n-match dinner tonight?
