Manduthudhi

Manduthudhi (borrowed from Telegu colloquialism) means ‘it burns’, in the context I am speaking of it, a burning feeling in the gut, a discordance in the heart, and an intemperate feeling in the temples. When someone insults another person, it’s said that the insulted and insulted can both feel a disharmony.
Chepevodiki koda manduthudhi. It burns for the insulted too when he says what he says. In a sense, there’s a self-frustration and self-displeasure in making the provocation as well.
