laver bread

Pronounced "Larver", laver is an edible seaweed commonly found on the south west coast of Wales (around Swansea). Laver has to be prepared at great length by washing many times, and boiled for up to 5 hours and drained to form a gelatinous puree. It is mixed with fine oatmeal, formed into small cakes and fried in fat. If you are after a traditional authentic flavour serve it with some vegan bacon.

Of course, in olden times, and even now in the countryside, there was a hot cooking "range" constantly available, so extended cooking times for things like laver were no problem. Nowadays it is less convenient (but you could try using a pressure cooker or microwave)

I have no idea why it is called "bread"!

breadcrumb lover

Breadcrumb lover. Breadcrumb love

To be a breadcrumb lover is to be doing the very bare minimum to show that you care for someone. Often giving examples as proof of being a caring lover after the person has been conditioned to accept normal acts of common courtesy to be of worthy efforts for the continued devotion to what actually is a very toxic abusive and manipulative person with personality disorders with jezebel tendencies.

For years i was accepting my wife’s breadcrumb lover antics. Where after months of emotional starvation and neglect . She would do random things from time to time that reminded me of better times and the love we once shared. But its not enough for me. I deserve more support than she can give me as shes too busy with doing the things that make me uncomfortably question her intentions and faithfulness.
