A Japanese-inspired noun meaning "battle-hardened lover". A kuyoki can be described as any person or entity, regardless of gender or race, that has encountered great hardships in life but continues to live a lifestyle of generosity, and has a great capacity for emotional flexibility, love, and trust. Not to be mistaken for naivety. These types of people are very rare; kuyoki are said to be the bravest, purest, and most wonderful people to walk the planet.
The young boy had so much taken from him. There was so much he didn't deserve to go through. Even still, he's always there for the people who need someone by their side. Despite everything he's gone through, he still loves everyone he meets and is determined to make everyone happy. He is a true kuyoki.

Tomoko Kuroki

Voiced by: Izumi Kitta (Japanese); Monica Rial (English)
Tomoko is often depicted as a desperate, lonely, and deranged girl who is characterized by her social anxiety, vivid facial expressions, and bags under her eyes. She has a grim outlook on life, as most of her thoughts involve insulting others or herself. She spends most of her days playing otome games and browsing the web. In her third year of high school, she decides that she wants to be a novelist. Thus, she aims to get into the Literature Department of Aoyama Gakuen University (青山学園大学, Aoyama gakuen daigaku), influencing her friends to also aim for the same university.

KuroKiiro Festival

KuroKiiro Festival is a small anime convention held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or around the area. It is a sister convention to Tekkoshocon. The first KKF was on the 8 floor of a small hotel, with 5 rooms, and a lobby. It wasn't very fun, but fans were satisfied. They have awesome dances, (like Tekkoshocon.) and everyone is very friendly. In 2010, KKF II is happening in November, at the Boyd Community Center. The location is awkward, but there is/was lots of land to dance and run around.
Kurokiiro Festival was really small!
It was fun, though.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
