knowtation

Connecting words and ideas in the text to the reader's own personal experiences and knowledge by writing notes in the margin of a text, or in the case of an e-reader, in a digital note.

Knowtation is a method of generative learning, or the process by which learning occurs through associating words in the text with prior experiences and knowledge.
Writing notes in the margin of a text is known generally as marginalia. Connecting these notes to your personal experiences and knowledge is knowtation.

Knowtation is conducive to digital text because of the ease of selecting and highlighting the text, and then typing a related note.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
