A word used to generally convey enthusiasm.

Most likely to be heard in Newcastle upon Tyne, but also used in parts of Ireland, Scotland and Northern England.

"Did you have a good night?"
"Yes, it was jakamo."

"Angelina Jolie is my favourite - she's jakamo."

"There was loads of chocolate and it was free -
how jakamo is that?"

jakamahaka (ja ka ma ha' ka) n., adj. 1. a person whose behavior is predictable 95% of the time in a given situation.
2. A person who in all respects shares personality characteristics with 95% of a given social environment.
3. A person who is surrounded by people with similar tastes, world views, or predispositions to topics worthy of discussion.
4. The state of being or acting like 95% of the people in a given situation

That jakamahaka just left the party... Thank God!

similar to 'Asshole', or 'Dickhead'.

Used in the movie "The Love Guru" by Vern Troyer.
