honeymoon snow

Used to describe snowfall accumulation when the total cannot be predicted. You know you're going to get it, but you don't know how many inches.

Wendy: How much snow are we supposed to get?

Ralph: They're not sure. It's honeymoon snow. You know you're going to get it...
