A person who believes in a god, but not the same god as any religious organization. A person who elects to personally define the characteristics of the god they believe in.

I'm a heterodeist. Sure, I believe in God, just not your god.

Heterofest

A heterofest is an event in which only heterosexuals, and usually in large number, participate in. Heterofests can be found anywhere, but are more common in the old confederate states of the southern United States.

Heteromestic

The type of lifestyle that was once almost exclusively the domain of straight, white, married couples: house in the suburbs, two kids, minivan, beige walls, bland food. Starting in the early 2000s,however, the lines between this and the homomestic lifestyle have blurred, as gay couples get legally married and raise children in increasing numbers, while suburban straight couples discover the joys of chevre and beurre blanc, cobalt blue dining rooms, and anal fingering.

Scott and Giselle's happy, heteromestic bliss started to crumble the moment Scott took his first bite of kimchi fried rice.

heterosexist

a person, usually a heterosexual, who believes that heterosexuality is the only valid choice and that it is superior to all other sexualties. These people are also likely to subscribe to other ideas such as racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination.

Heterosexuals who use the word gay in a derogatory manner (bad way) are being heterosexist in that they associate the word gay with some misfortune or ill effect.

Heterodoxist

A person who discriminates against people with different standards of orthodoxy; particularly with regards to behavior or belief; those who discriminate against those with customs they consider "unnatural" or "taboo".

Comes from the Greek "Heteros" meaning "other" or "different" and the Greek "Doxa" , meaning "opinion".

Social conservatives, homophobes, xenophobes, bible literalists. Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Fred Phelps.

Straight people who are so homophobic that they can’t even imagine anyone not being straight, and think that being straight is the pinnacle of human existence that everyone must want.
