Usually a boy who intends to cause a good impression on girls and cares a lot about what people think of him. Most of times he discovers he is just not as popular as other guys and gets angry with the world.

-Alice: Yesterday I spent the evening with Luke. He took me to a restaurant, bought me a present, invited me to the cinema and took me back home.
-Jane: That's good, i guess.
