frameshift

When, on a scantron or similar bubble-in sheet, you leave one answer blank or grid an answer in twice, leading all subsequent answers to be gridded wrong. Usually takes about 5 more fill-ins before one starts frantically erasing and re-gridding.
OMG! I only scored a 700 on my SATs?! *looks at answer packet*... Damn frameshift.
