Fetrah / Fitra

Pronunciation:
Fiṭ·ra
ˈfɪtˤɾa, ˈfɪtɾa

Word Classification:
noun: fitra (uncountable noun)

Definition:
(Islam) The original state of humans after being created by God, as ordained to be in a state of Natural Law.

Etymology:
The word "Fetrah" originated from Fitra, which is connected to natural law.

Details:
While Fitra generally refers to the concept of natural law, Fetrah on the other hand is a word that is used to represent a concept of evolutionary psychology / sociology. The FETRAH movement acronym stands for Family Embracement of Transcendent Righteous Actions and Honor. The movement asserts the common belief that there is a connection between evolutionary biological predispositions and how humans are ordained to behave, most notably in regards to heterosexual (normal sexual) behaviours. The movement began trending on Twitter in 2022 and has been growing since.
Friend 1: Did you know that less that a quarter of non-heterosexual behavior is linked to genetics, while the rest is related to upbringing and environment? Its from the NATURE scientific journal.

Friend 2: That's what I've been telling you, humans naturally behave through FETRAH (natural law). Deviations are typically due to sociological innovations.

FETRAH is an acronym that stands for : Family Embracement of Transcendent Righteous Actions and Honour.

It is a phrase used by people who believe in family values and assert that heterosexuality is the norm and should remain so. The phrase is spelled very similar to Fitra, which is the Islamic concept of Natural Law.

Fetrah represents a growing faction of people both religious and otherwise that are skeptical of the idea that suggests homosexuality is inherently natural to humans, and Fetrah rather asserts that it is a result of nurture not nature.
Friend 1: Man, I'm kind of skeptical of this new movement about "sex positivity" being so important.

Friend 2: Same, I'm kind of considering the ideas of FETRAH and Natural Law. Some things are just meant to be a certain way and it's as simple as that.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.
