When you have really bad grammar. For example, saying "light time" instead of

Guy 1: "Hey man I'm scared of the dark."

Guy 2: "You must be terrified of dark time."

Guy 1: "You mean Night time?"

Guy 2: "Whoops, guess i had a case of earn burn."

To smoke weed before or during work.

Some days I like to burn and earn before work or during lunch. It makes my job more tolerable and helps the day go by.
