the act of breaking out of several commitments for irrelevant, frivolous reasons.

"Hey man, are you going to make it to our test today?"
"Nah, I was up playing online poker all night. I think I'll just doob out."

"Hey, we missed you at our anatomy final!"
"Oh yeah, my alarm clock is messed up or something.. I just had to doob out."
