Dio serpente avvelenato is a common italian exclamation that sounds like"god is a poisoned snake". It is often used in veneto when granfathers caught granchildren pranking them. It is now used also as a normal expression of disappointment. Almost everybody use it

"Dio serpente avvelenato! Fatteli da' dalla mamma, un sei mica ofrano!"
