A disease inflicted upon modern games in order for them to work and operate on consoles (even next gen). Symptoms include retro graphics, bad scaling, closer draw distance, poor fidelity, and bad bad texturing. The PC users of games with consolitus are warned that it can cause disappointment and frustration, to anger, and eventually the dark side.
Goddamn, I spent $40 on this game and it is infested with consolitus. Just look at the horrible graphics on my uber PC. Why? Why? Why?
