commulord 

A term for an absolute AIDS RIDDEN car that has one sole purpose; to commute with as little hassle as possible, and to not actually give a shit about. it must be mechanically PEFECT and handle all the abuse given, but also totally undesirable and if possible hold no actual value. Only then can it have commulord status.

My fiat bravo 2.0, aka 'the big one'. it simply refuses to die, and is currently contending for commulord supremacy.

communard 

1. Generally, a member of a French commune. Or any other kind of commune.

2. A member or supporter of the Paris Commune, one of the first historical attempts to establish a socialist state. They were brutally repressed by the French Third Republic.

3. A French apéritif (cocktail) similar to or also known as a Cardinal. It is made in a small wine glass, with 1/5th crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) and 4/5ths Beaujolais red wine, and garnished with a few blackberries.

4. A member of a ibrigade de cuisine/i (kitchen staff in a posh restaurant or hotel) who makes the meal for the restaurant staff.

3. Back home in the south of France they make amazing communards.

A Commutard is born when you convert a dirt bike or dual sport motorcycle into a motard (or supermoto), and then use it for your daily commute. Hence "Commutard"

communard 

- A member of a French commune

- The more pejorative definition: an ultra-violent French Marxist faction that arose at the conclusion of the Franco-Prussian war with the sole intent of throwing down the government and creating a proletariat paradise. The end result they sought was a fully state owned infra with high taxes and few freedoms. In this description, a communard is no better then a Trotskyite red; it is a fact that when the reds sought to bring their revolution to the world starting in 1918, France and Bulgaria were the most receptive to their message and as such were guilty of some repugnant actions in the name of Communism. Contrast France's actions with that of Germany or the UK to get a better picture.
