The Word Component Code 

The code which denotes the way prefixes, affixes, and suffixes are combined to form words, and along with root words and monosyllabic words constitute all the words in a language.

Though most people can see that the various components of words are combined to form all the words in a language, because so few people take the time to familiarize themselves with prefixes, affixes, and suffixes to help them comprehend words on a deeper level and communicate more effectively, some educators call that interplay between the components of words "The Word Component Code." The following are some examples of "compound words." Firefly, softball, redhead, keyboard, makeup, notebook, foreshadow, afterthought, hindsight, and foolproof. Compound words are a combination of two words but expressed as a single word. Word such as "disrespect," for example, is a different type of bisyllabic word because it is comprised of the prefix "dis," followed by and joined to the root word "respect."

its all basically dumb people using dumb words just to be sleazy skeezy and down right bad just to be able to smoke marijuana or other gay paraphernalia from some genitalia shaped device for 5 minutes of a shitty pointless non-enlightening false high. they use weed code words in front of teachers and parents and other "know better" people because they know what they are doing is stupid and wrong and they hide it cause they don't want to get caught because its STUPID and WRONG! all drugs are. they will use anything, could be as simple as "hey wanna go HIT the punching bag later?" first of all the real code words always the verb like HIT or something representing they are going to sniff huff take a puff inhale or some other action to get high off of a joint or roach. they will make it really obvious and sometimes not at all. spotting a pothead is super simple to begin with but just in case your lame brained and un-observant you hear things like this YOU'LL KNOW!!! the reason they will always use the verb hit or something similar is because they don't wanna confuse details. many times it will be peer pressure, don't get yourself into a bad situation cause someone said "hey wanna ride bikes later on?" that's too specific they will usually use some verb or adjective that gives it all away.

codeword 

a word or phrase shared by a group which has a special meaning to that group

codewords are often used to hide meaning or intention from anyone not in the group

groups that use codewords extensively include commies, racists, teens, politicians, military, conservatives, cops, criminals, drug dealers, gangs, lawyers, geeks, and spies

contrast "codeword" with "shibboleth", which is a word that identifies you as belonging to a particular group but doesn't have any special meaning

"Kenyan" is a white racist codeword for "nigger", as in the sentence, "The President is really a Kenyan". It's a way for upscale white conservatives and trailer-trash rednecks to mutually share their blatantly racist concerns.
